Associate Degree
Associate Degree-Area of Concentration
Bible & Theology
This is a 60 credit hour Bible and Theology program designed to build Godly character and help establish a strong life of faith. Students will gain further knowledge, understanding and application of the Scriptures.
Bachelors Degree
Bachelor Degree-Areas Of Concentration
BACHELOR OF BIBLE AND THEOLOGY DEGREE
The Bachelor of Bible and Theology degree applies to all ministry calls; teachers, pastors, evangelists and all those who plan to teach and preach the Word of God.
BACHELOR OF MINISTRY LEADERSHIP DEGREE
The Bachelor of Ministry degree includes a strong foundation in Theology with special emphasis on leadership, dynamics and practical ministry application. This program develops leadership ability and enhances ministry skills for expanding vision and faith.
BACHELOR OF CHRISTIAN COUNSELING DEGREE
The Bachelor of Christian Counseling degree is a pastoral counseling program designed to be used within the framework of Christian service. The Christian counseling degrees are offered in cooperation with the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC).
(The CPMBC Counseling Program is not recognized by the State of Louisiana for the purpose of professional licensing.)
Masters Degree
Master Degree-Area of Concentration
This 45 credit hour ministerial program is designed to prepare the graduate student for a greater degree of ministerial excellence and effectiveness.
This program specializes in an area of study directly related to their ministerial call. In addition to coursework and research paper, graduate students will fulfill an internship corresponding to their respective field of study.
MASTER OF BIBLE AND THEOLOGY The Master of Bible and Theology degree offers the student an opportunity for in-depth Bible and Theological study. Complementing our Undergraduate Program, the Master’s of Bible and Theology provides the student with ministry application opportunities in the field through an internship practicum.
MASTER OF MINISTRY LEADERSHIP The Master of Ministry Leadership is a well-rounded, in-ministry program for pastors, counselors and other full-time ministers. This program places an emphasis on leadership skills, counseling and theology. It builds on ministry experience while challenging the individual student to pursue and realize their full potential as a leader.
MASTER OF CHRISTIAN COUNSELING This Biblically based program is designed for those involved in pastoral counseling within the framework of Christian service. It will enable the student to meet the emotional, spiritual and psychological needs of all age groups. The program prepares the student for a wide range of contemporary challenges encountered in the local church and Christian ministry. This degree is offered in cooperation with the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC). Doctorate Degree
Doctoral Degree-Area of Concentration
The CPMBC Graduate and Post Graduate Programs offers students the opportunity for an in-depth study in a specialized area of ministry and to earn a Master’s Degree and/or a Doctoral Degree.
This is a great opportunity for pastors and Christian leaders to receive a Masters or Doctoral Degree with affordable tuition and flexible schedule. These accredited programs offer practical application in the field as well as academic achievement.
DOCTORAL PROGRAM
The Doctoral degree is a terminal degree representing the highest level of academic achievement possible.
CPMBC offers a 44 credit hour Doctoral Program to prepare candidates for the greatest level of ministerial excellence. Students specialize in an area of study directly related to their ministerial call. In addition to coursework, research, dissertation, doctoral candidates also fulfill an internship corresponding to their field of study.
Prerequisite: A Masters Degree with a minimum of 60 hours in Bible and Theology from an approved college or university. Applicants with a strong undergraduate program in religion may petition for advanced standing in the program, which could allow them to qualify for an accelerated study and savings on their tuition.
