Bible & Theology
“The Bible and Theology program helps you deepen your understanding of scripture and learn how to interpret and apply its principles. Rigorous academic study and the emphasis on spiritual formation foster personal growth and transformation.
As a Bible and Theology major, students will help discern, explore, and grow in their clarity about God’s calling regardless of the vocation. Our program combines academic study with spiritual formation, deepening your knowledge of biblical texts and theological concepts.

Ministry
The Christian Ministry degree provides versatile ministry training for students who want to pursue full-time Christian service in a wide variety of church and community ministries.
The program emphasizes wisdom, faith and service, so students will have the added benefit of studying in an environment where faith is the cornerstone of all academic study. The result is that you get a broad knowledge base supporting your specific ministry focus, making you more relevant to the spiritual needs of those whom you have been called to serve.
As a Christian Ministry major, students will embody ways to serve Christ and the Church as God has gifted and called them, both as professionals and as volunteers.
The Christian Apologetics Concentration equips students with the intellectual and practical tools to engage in meaningful theological discussions, defend the Christian faith, and communicate biblical truths effectively. This concentration prepares graduates for pastoral leadership, apologetic ministry, and seminary studies leading to ordination.
The Missions Concentration equips students with the knowledge and skills to engage in cross-cultural ministry, global outreach, and mission work. This concentration emphasizes both theological and practical aspects of mission work and prepares students to serve in cross-cultural ministry settings, global mission organizations, and local outreach initiatives.
The Pastoral Ministry Concentration prepares students for leadership roles in church settings, equipping them with preaching, pastoral care, and ministry leadership skills. This concentration emphasizes biblical teaching, pastoral responsibilities, and church leadership dynamics.
The Youth Ministry Concentration equips students with the skills needed to engage, disciple, and lead youth in church and ministry settings. This concentration focuses on developing effective strategies for youth discipleship, small group leadership, and biblical teaching.
Christian Counseling
Learn to provide counseling with grace, dignity and the spirit of Christ. In a world wrought with increasing confusion, anxiety, frustration, 2 Corinthians 10:3, John 16:33, James 4:4, 1 John 2:16, God calls Christians to be a light and extend a hand to people in need. Some are even led to pursue a ministry as a full-time biblical counselor—one who has studied the Word and can provide hope and comfort to those who are in need, searching.
The Program concentration helps the student Identify and view the world’s issues through a biblical lens and apply scriptural truths to everyday struggles. As students prepare for Kingdom ministry that can change lives through the hope of the Gospel, students will gain greater confidence in their gifts, callings through practical application.
Classes like Theology of Biblical Counseling and The Biblical Counselor will present a holistic view of the role as a Biblical counselor and how one can make a difference in the lives of others.
We Study Biblical Counseling In Service To the Lord
For those called to provide hope and comfort through Scripture-based guidance, the biblical counseling concentration serves as a path for students to use gifting, skill and talent to benefit others. It’s a program based firmly on the sufficiency of the Bible: the stand-alone answer to mankind’s problems and anxieties, providing timeless advice and solutions according to God’s Word.
Christian Education
Have you felt a calling to serve as a teacher, discipleship leader, or lay leader in a church setting?
The Discipleship and Christian Education Program is designed to prepare men and women to meet the demands for trained leadership in church discipleship ministries. A combination of study including Bible and hands-on experience provide resources to apply principles and methods of teaching, including those used by Jesus.
Upon completion of this program the student should be able to articulate and embrace a philosophy of Kingdom mandate transformational education. The student will also develop, organize, and implement ministry-oriented programs that promote Kingdom spiritual formation through the local church and outreach experiences.
Teaching, mentoring, and discipling believers at all stages and walks of life embracing a “whole person” perspective, is an important aspect of the Discipleship and Christian Education program. The program reflects on the effects that a concentrated emphasis in the Spiritual Disciplines of the Kingdom has on his or her walk with God. This program empowers those who are called to serve as youth pastors, leaders, small group leaders, Sunday School teachers, Spiritual Formation advisors, evangelistic, discipleship ministry leaders and more!
